AREA – Valkenboskwartier
Situated just outside the center of The Hague, you will find yourself in the middle of the versatile and lively district of the Valkenboskwartier. This neighborhood is compact and monumental with a mix of large and smaller houses, especially from before 1916. Intimate streets and enclosed squares provide a pleasant urban atmosphere. The Valkenboskwartier is very conveniently located between the beach and the center. Within walking distance you will find Fahrenheitstraat on one side and Reinkenstraat, Regentesseplein and Weimarstraat on the other. These streets consist of a variety of shops, both for shopping and for daily groceries. You can find the finest cheeses, the most delicious breads and fresh fish here. There are also butchers, greengrocers, nut shops, liquor stores and many more nice and tasty shops in this neighborhood near the Zuiderstrand. Finished shopping? Then enjoy a snack and a drink in one of the cozy cafes, bars, lunchrooms or restaurants.
Several (large) supermarkets and public transport (tram 12, Randstadrail 3 and bus 21) can be reached on foot. The Emma's Hof city garden is also a few minutes' walk away.

LAYOUT
